I had an awesome experience with the care and attention to detail from Dr Steinberg before , during and after my surgery. Very very pleased.
On June 1, 2021 I underwent a surgery performed by Dr. Steinberg, assisted by Dr. Meade. Together they performed a 3 hour Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery ( Robotic assisted: Sacral Colopopexy- Mesh ). I was home that same evening and required no pain medication. Of course, I felt the aftermath of the surgery for a couple of months ( mostly fatigue ) but there was no pain, some discomfort but minimal. Dr Steinberg explained the procedure to me & made sure that I understood what I needed to do & what he & Dr Meade would do in detail. I highly recommend Dr. Steinberg! I had a prolapsed uterus and bladder leakage and was referred to Dr. Steinberg by my primary physician after my annual physical. He was very professional and gave full explanations and diagrams of what was going on in my body, and provided non-surgical and surgical options involving less-invasive robotics. From the first visit, I felt very comfortable with Dr Steinberg. He asked me questions to determine my problem, provided information on various options, and explained fully what the procedure would be like when I chose the option of having the sling. All I can say is WOW! My life has totally changed, all thanks to Dr. Steinberg, and his stellar staff! I went to his office because of a prolapsed bladder. Anticipating that the results would dictate that surgery was needed, was I ever surprised that other options were possible! I opted for a Pessary which would uplift, and keep my bladder in place. Oh!
