Dr. Dirkx is very nice and easy to get along with. He is honest and won't throw drugs at you that get you hooked. Everyone in the Santa Maria office are very nice too !!
He treats his patients like a family member not just a patient. He is always smiling and upbeat. Dr. Dirkx reminds me of my family doctor that we had as children. I am 80 years old and appreciate the old school ways of past medical personnel. He is very good at explaining the patient's condition in lay terms so we can understand what he is talking about.
Very knowledgeable. Communicates very well and seems to really be patient-centered in his care. Skilled in procedures.
Good Dr. He listens to his patient and a works with the patient to find a good solution to a heath plan.
Dr. Dirkx is excellent and has made the process of managing my pain both easy and understandable. Dealing with chronic pain is difficult enough without having further difficulties around treatment plan options, short and long term prognosis and scheduling.
Dr Dirkx was very straight forward about what needed to be done and made sure it got done in a timely manner. I am truly grateful to have had Dr. Dirkx as my physician, without his abilities I would still be on my crutch, unable to stand upright.
