Very good experience at OrthVirginia Everything was very clear, from the parking signs in the garage to the signs on the floor telling me where to go to checkout. Plenty of seats in the waiting room. The intake was quick and professional. I went to see the doctor close to my appointment time, and what little I was late was largely due to my not getting there in enough time to fill out my questionnaire promptly. Dr. Kittredge was friendly, professional and quick. (My problem did not require a lengthy consult.) Well done!
I trusted Dr. Kittredge with my care after speaking with multiple professionals and I’m glad that I did. He respected my wishes for surgery for a difficult case.
I saw this doctor twice, and both times it was as if he couldn't get out of the exam room fast enough. After two extremely rushed appointments in which he explained little to nothing and was condescending and dismissive, I sought care from another doctor in a different practice. Took time to listen to how the injury occured and did a thorough exam. Took time to explain potential treatment. Love that he went with a non-surgical route first. Hopefully that clears up my issue.
Dr. Kittredge was initially my second opinion. But I was so impressed with his approach that I decided to have him perform my ACL surgery instead. My other opinion had said that I had meniscus damage and would be straight leg for 6 weeks after surgery and that surgeon would only use a cadaver ligament due to my age. But Dr. Kittredge said he did not see any meniscus damage and would not touch it and would use my hamstring ligament which I felt much better about.
