When I needed a lower back epidural you sent me to another wonderful dr. When I needed an orthopaedic dr, again you sent me to one of the best. Your staff is wonderful. My husband was admitted to SMH and was very ill . Dr Stein saved his life and was very committed to finding out what was causing all the problems . He is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor .
Dr. Stein was my mom's GP for 13 years. I called him a year and a half ago to explain just how sick she was. She couldn't get out of bed. She didn't leave the house for a week at a time. She had zero energy. I pled with him to help me get her to speak with a therapist or a counselor or a social worker. His reply: I can't make your mom go to therapy. In reality, Mom was suffering from severe angina. We didn't find out until it was too late. She died in April at age 66 after open heart surgery.
