Top Notch professional who is personable and knowledgeable. You may have to wait a bit for your appointment, but Dr Mandelll is worth it. He doesn’t rush even though he has lots of patients and manages to still make you are fully treated.

While on vacation in Outer Banks I began having problems with floaters and flashes. I called Dr. Mandell in Virginia Beach. His staff fit me in as an emergency and we drove 3 hours to see him as he was only retinal specialist I could find. I was his last patient of the day on a Friday afternoon. Staff and Dr. Mandell were wonderful and did not rush through my exam. He explained what was happening to me and I felt very reassured upon leaving his office plus advising on a follow up with my eye doctor at home. Would highly reco... read more
