I had a quick 20 mins video call with this doctor. I had an abdominal pain. She ordered CT nothing else. Then I got a bill 270.11$ they use a code 99204 which is the most expensive for 40-50 mins visit while they could use 99203. Both codes are for new patients. - CPT code 99204 is used for a new patient office or outpatient visit that requires a moderate-to-high level of medical decision making. - CPT 99203 = new patient office / outpatient visit with moderate complexity, but one level lower than 99204. * I didn’t have any ... read more
Really bad. I told her ahead of time that the prep did not work well and she said everything will be fine and that they can suction it all out. And she did the procedure anyway and they could not see clearly and so I have to do it all over again. What’s worse is I’m paying out of pocket and they provided billing codes which means I am no longer be eligible for a free preventative service. She coded it as a complete procedure but made notes that the accuracy was limited and that I need to come back in a year. I guess that way... read more
