Dr Majlessi is awesome. I've been her patient for several years. She listens and offers great solutions to my issues. I've recommended my daughter, a cousin and a friend see her. Appointments, reminders, prescriptions have never been an issue. She is informed of my other treatments and is cautious about what she prescribed.
She is a decent rheumatologist, but the office is run terribly. I’ve had loooong waits, over an hour past my appointment time, they are unresponsive to the specialty pharmacy and cause delays in refills, but when you call to ask what’s going on, that the pharmacy is saying it’s the doctors office that isn’t responding, they handle it right away…
Dr Majilessi is great. Very caring and listens. I have 3 prescriptions from her. I have never had trouble with refills or making appointments. Her staff has been very helpful to me coordinating appointments.
I'm a patient of Dr. Majlessi and have been trying to get in touch with her office for several days now for a prescription refill. I have lupus and have been without my meds for almost 5 days. I get diverted to an answering service each time I reach out and their advice is to go to an emergency room. I'm now pushing over 25 reach out attempts. The pharmacy is unable to get in touch with them either. What a mess.
I agree with the person posting frustration with office communication. I love Dr. Majlessi but you cannot reach her. They do NOT have email available (21st century now!) and cannot reach them by phone. I get the same message the other patient posted. NO voice mail available. There is a total inability to reach them without showing up on their doorstep. Ridiculous, really. How do they stay in business?
