I was recommended Dr Belizon for evaluation of a condition. I met with Dr Belizon shortly there after and we agreed robotic Laproscopy was the treatment. I was in the middle of changing PCP's and was in need of a pre-op physical. I couldn't get into my new PCP for a couple of months. Dr Belizon called my new PCP and he got me in right away. I find Dr Belizon to be very personable and he makes sure you understand everything along the way. Dr. Belizon is a highly capable man who likely eats, sleeps, and dreams surgery. What surprised me the most about my colorectal surgery was that there was little to no pain. I took no pain medications of any kind. By comparison, the gas bubbles that formed in a reconstituting intestinal tract were more annoying. And that annoyance was minor.

I am confined to my home due to the Coronovirus epidemic. I had an issue and the doctors office responded promptly with advise. I am grateful for the quick reply . The doctors office is even open during this period. Dr. Belizon and the staff are great.

I was referred to Dr Belizon by a friend who deals with many medical claims and procedures for his own business. I couldn't have done better than being lucky enough for Dr Belizon to be the surgeon to remove my gallbladder. He not only has great bedside manner, but is highly skilled, and his office even helped schedule me sooner since I was very uncomfortable. I can't recommend Dr Belizon enough.

I needed surgery for crohn’s disease.I opted to have my surgery in Florida instead of going up to more “well known “hospitals up north because the references and recommendations I received about Dr Avi Belizon, convinced me to stay in Florida and have the surgery at Boca Regional Hospital.It was certainly a great decision.From surgery pre-op ,through surgery,through post-op,Dr Belizon and his team were constantly monitoring my condition.I did not need any pain killers or narcotics post surgery.Thank God I am feeling better a... read more

From my first visit with Dr. Belizon, he made me feel completely at ease regarding having surgery for a femoral hernia. My primary care dr., Dr. Nunes recommended him saying he is really a good surgeon. I am so impressed by him and his skills. Surgery was last week and I'm feeling well. Thank You Dr. Belizon. I highly recommend him to anyone in need. I'll be going back to him for my colonoscopy. This is the first time I have written a review.
