I was diagnosed 10 years ago with ARVC after decades of competitive running, cycling & IM triathlons. As a result I received my 1st ICD. The last 10 years have not been smooth sailing. My device has fired 12 times & i was flown from Coffs Base by air ambulance 3 years ago to John Hunter for emergency ablation. 18 months ago I came into Dr May’s care.
