I had a very complex type 4 hiatal hernia and Dr. Kumar preformed my surgery. I’m very pleased with my outcome. Dr. Kumar took his time explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix my hiatal hernia. After the surgery Dr. Kumar checked on me multiple times while I was still in the hospital I was fine as could be but the visits showed me how much he was invested in my care before and after my surgery. I am very pleased with knowledge and care I was shown in an extremely stressful situation.

Dr Kumar attended to my son during an emergency room visit and during subsequent surgery. We found Dr Kumar to be very professional, very informative in an easy-to-understand manner without being condescending, and all the while adding humor and levity to an otherwise very scary situation. We would highly recommend this gentleman if you are ever in need of a general surgeon.

I was in the process of dying. I was septic from an abdominal hernia. It was a life-or-death situation. I needed a colostomy bag to allow my intestines to heal. I was concerned it would be a lifelong situation, but he treated me for several months, and I healed, and the colostomy bag was removed. I'm as good as new now.
