Dr. Kumar was the best doctor I have seen. I was rusted in to the Er. The doctor on duty told me I need surgey my gull adder needed to come out and I had stones blocking the flap. Then Dr. Kumar came in and he took time to explain what was going on with all the pain I was in. Dr. Kumar was kind and patient he answered all my question with a smile which calmed me down. Any one looking for a doctor he is the one. You won't be disappointed once you see and talk with him. Thank you Dr. Kumar
I was very nervous to have a surgical procedure done at Jourdanton. Upon meeting Dr. Kumar, I knew right away that I was in good hands. He took the time to explain the surgical procedure in detail at the pre-op appointment. He also tended to some minor issues during the surgery. He is an excellent doctor in skill and with communicating important information to his patients. His office staff and the staff at South Texas Regional Hospital are friendly and comforting. EXCELLENT SURGEON!
Dr. Kumar is a fantastic surgeon. He explained in detail why I was having the pain and why I need to have surgery to eliminate the problem. Dr. Kumar even went to the extent to draw me a picture explaining what was going on and why I was in so much pain. He went above and beyond my expectations in after care as well. Dr. Kumar called me personally after my discharge to make sure I was doing ok. I highly recommend him for your surgical needs.

The Kumar Explained clearly procedure and expectations and recovery time
I went to the emergency room thinking that I was dehydrated. I was immediately seen by the ER Dr. and it turns out that not only was I dehydrated I also had gallstones. My gallbladder was very inflamed and it needed to be surgically removed. I was then admitted and my surgery was scheduled for the following morning. Dr. Kumar met with me and was very helpful in answering my many questions about my upcoming surgery. The surgery went well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kumar .
He was the most caring surgeon that I have ever encountered. He truly cares about his patients. He went out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. I would suggest him to anyone!
