We LOVE Dr. Honeycutt! She is very attentive and takes the time to listen and address all my concerns. She has a very warm bedside manner. We lucked out finding her as our child’s pediatrician!
Care in the office is adequate enough, but Dr. Honeycutt's billing office and support staff are somewhere between incompetent and dishonest. Multiple visits for well child (i.e. ACA Preventive) have tricked-up charges for "brief emotional assessment" and other procedures that are consistently coded as "diagnostic" even though the words associated with these charges are specifically called out by ACA and BCBS as preventive and covered at 100%. Feels like a money grab, not care.
Doctor Honeycutt took over many years ago for Dr. Ellen Stecker. I PRAYED that they replaced Dr. Stecker with someone as equally caring and special as she. They could not have chosen a better replacement as Dr. Honeycut. From the beginning, she has been nothing but loving, helpful, honest and a superstar to my 3 daughters and myself. My daughters are almost grown now and we refuse to go anywhere else! She is about 40 minutes from home, but it is worth the satisfaction and peace of mind!
