as an ex patient, i highly recommend finding someone else. i'm still working through the issues that seeing Dr. Perumal caused.
dismissive, validated homo/transphobia and made me feel like *i* was the one that was wrong simply for existing, uses the wrong name and pronouns (despite having both on file), ignores a lot of what is said, etc. I would advise folks to look elsewhere, especially if you're trans / nb

She was very helpful and concerned. She analyzed and changed my medications if necessary.
Horrible experience and a complete waste of my time. Had an appointment with Aruna Perumal, and literally sat in the waiting room for an hour. Finally asked the receptionist how much longer... she couldn't tell me. Not setting up appropriate expectations and making efforts to communicate especially with when you experiencing mental distress is why seeking help is so difficult.
