Dr Gullapalli during 3 visits was disconnected, disinterested and offered little counsel. I have been in l military VA care for over 25 years, most Drs in the program are extremely involved and very concerned about the patient. My current medication is a non-addictive sleep medication. Upon moving to Monroe in February 2025 I learned that the the VA doesn’t provide psychiatric care in Monroe, I went to Dr Gullapalli. Dr. Gullapalli is superb at diagnosing specific problems, and she knows how to use meds if patient is already taking other medications. She is patient and responsible.
I am a former patient. Working with the team after my diagnosis with CPTSD, agoraphobia and OCD. I do not recommend this Dr to anyone.

My grandaughter has been under Dr. G's care for several years. She has mananged to wean her off of the numerous medications that were not needed. We have seen a remarkable improvement in my grandaughter's depression and anxiety since she has been under Dr. G's care. I would recommend her highly to anyone.
I was referred after the death of my husband. Please find someone else to get the care you need. I was off and under her care when my job terminated me! (Ouachita Parish School Board) after 14 years of service at same school!! When I was let go I lost my insurance when the dr found out I was discharged! She is very rude and seems to have an attitude all of the time. I feel as though she only likes to write prescriptions and never truly gets to know or even pretends to care about her clients.
Dr. Gullapalli treated my son in a crisis situation of psychosis. She was very empathetic, and expertly managed his medication for a very positive result, with active treatment of only 7 days. Christine, Alexandria, La.
Dr. G has been my son's doctor for 15 years and counting. He was 12 and very afraid of his diagnosis. She has been an absolute Angel. She recently started treating me for severe depression after a miscarriage. We have been to numerous doctors but Dr. G is the best Psychiatrist ever! CBrown-Holliday
