I am a medical student attending LECOM on Lakewood Ranch. In March of 2014 I sprained my ankle playing soccer. The urgent care doc I went to the day after said it was likely a grade 2-3 sprain and sent me home with a splint. I contacted coastal orthopedics because I wanted a second opinion, and scheduled an appointment with Dr.Cottom a few days after the sprain.
