Dr Ostrov has been my GI specialist for decades. He is without a doubt the most dedicated physician and researcher I’ve ever met. His reputation for his gentle caring approach is undeniable. He will be missed dearly as he transitions to his well deserved retirement.
Although, Dr. Ostrov did save my life during my first major bleed, he told me I was too old for a transplant. I later had a very successful liver transplant at University of Rochester Medical Center, and I am doing quite well after the transplant just short of 7 years ago.
