This doctor, AFTER 2 SPINAL SURGERY destroyed my life. He left me in more pain before the 2 botched operations! This guy should be in jail! STAY AWAY FAR AWAY!
My experience with Dr. Schwartz went way beyond my expectations. I had 3 cervical herniations that caused severe neck pain, and numbness throughout my right arm and fingers. I had two discs replaced, and one fused. The moment I woke up from my surgery, I knew it was a complete success!! Now, 3 months after my surgery I can turn my head left or right without pain, I've regained full feeling in my arm, and the scar on my neck is barely visible. Highly recommend!!!!
Backs are tricky. I've had major issues since a horrible car accident in the seventies. I've had several failed surgeries. Dr. Schwartz is conservative & doesn't leap to cut . Pain is now treated by a 1st rate doctor in his practice. I need another fusion, which I've known was inevitable from several other NYC top Drs. I am going w/ Dr. Schwartz because the hospital is quite good for orthopedic surgery and follow up is very good.
Dr. Schwartz operated on me 2 years ago for a severy herniated disk @ L3-4. I had 4 other previous surgeries with top doctors in NYC. I had an amazing recovery and was mobile almost immediately. I had better results with Dr. Schwartz than any big "name" doctors in NYC. The nursing staff and other para professionals at Huntington were terrific. No complaints.
Dr schwartz is very arrogant and thinks the world revolves around him. His staff and surgical coordinator are the rudest, inconsiderate people ever. I always wait atleast two hours and they never do anything about it except tell me to go somewhere else if i dont like it. I understand he is very smart man but you dont have to treat people like that. I have also seen him talk down to his medical assistant staff even though the bend over backwards for him.
Excellent spine surgeon. The best when it comes to knowledge and skill. I would highly recommend Dr Schwartz. If you have back problems and need surgery he is the guy to go to.
Dr Schwartz gave me my life back. The best surgeon! He is amazing and worth everything.
