Writing this review largely to break the tradition of online reviews only being posted for supposedly unpleasant experiences, which isn’t an accurate representation of “everybody’s” experience. My wife and I visited Dr Malik’s office for a consultation of our newborn. Dr Malik was extremely professional, courteous, patient and gave us all the confidence that we needed to handle the situation at hand. Dr. Malik is so personable and soft spoken. After speaking with her she is clearly experienced.
Did not take into account history of child's asthma and did not provide correct course of action to help. Inhaler was directed to us to be used as needed as opposed to maintenance. Had malik provided correct course of action, we could have avoided a 3 day hospital stay in children hospital. Front staff is also not very helpful. Indicative of what's wrong with Canadian Healthcare
