Dr. Rad was my surgeon for several reconstructive surgeries after my breast cancer diagnosis. He is compassionate, caring and a very skilled surgeon. I couldn't be happier with my results. I highly recommend him !

While I applaud Dr Rad's heart for breast cancer patients, I must be honest. DIEP Flap surgery was the worst medical decision of my life. I would have been far better off to have just dealt with a bi-lateral mastectomy without reconstruction than to have endured the hell of the past 4 years following the reconstruction.

While DIEP flap surgery is very safe, entails low risk and has greater than 99 percent success rate in Dr. Rad's hands, it may not be the right choice for everyone. While impossible to predict for whom DIEP flap will not meet expectation, nonetheless outstanding care is the heart of Dr. Rad's practice, and we focus our efforts on patients' healing and recovery particular in the event of a rare complication.
Dr. Ariel Rad is the finest physician I've ever met! I've worked with Dr. Rad over the last five years and he encompasses everything you'd hope from a physician and much more. He possesses the highest intellect, expertise, sophistication, dedication, and compassion. I can't say enough about Dr. Rad. Every appointment I've had with him has exceeded my expectations. He's the absolute best in the business! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Ariel Rad to my family and friends for medical care.

Dr. Rad was absolutely amazing to work with. It was my first real operation and he couldn't have made the entire process (consultation to end result) anymore comfortable for me. Dr. Rad did a great job informing me, but not pushing any decisions on me. I would, and already have, recommended him to anyone!

Dr. Rad is a perfectionist! He pays attention to detail. It has been several years since my breast surgery. Surgery was 13 hours of reconstruction for my breasts. After being diagnosed with breast cancer I chose to have a bi-lateral mastectomy. Dr. Rad was my plastic surgeon. He performed delayed DIEP Flap reconstruction. Finding a doctor to take time to explaine the procedure and what to expect is a bit difficult. Dr. Rad not only is a wonderful surgeon but he is kind and caring.

Dr. Rad is a exceptionally gifted plastic surgeon who is also warm and caring. He took his time explaining the surgical procedure and expected outcomes. I was diagnosed with breast cancer which required a mastectomy. Dr. Rad explained all my options for reconstruction. I chose a DIEP Flap reconstruction. After awakening from surgery and viewing my new breast, I was able to exhale. My newly constructed breast matched my existing breast perfectly.

Dr. Rad is an extraordinary physician. My results (from lipo of belly/flanks) are exactly what I had hoped for (and recovery/results are exactly what he told me to expect).
