One look at how the Dr. takes care of his body, as I do at a fitness center, made me very comfortable before and after the colon exam.
If you normal gastro issues, by all means this is your guy. If your issue seems to complex for him to handle, get a second opinion and return to him with the results. He wasn't happy with what i did, but he performed the colonoscopy and low and behold, my gastro issues weren't all in my head l, they were just to complex for him to understand.
Dr.Laing is not only a phenomenal Doctor but an exceptional man as well. He becomes your friend and takes time to truly understand you not only as a patient but as an individual as well and explains in Lehman terms what is going on so you can understand and devise a plan to achieve your health goal(s). His staff is tremendous. Polite, courteous, highly knowledgeable and friendly! Abrupt manner. When I was speaking would talk over me. Kept asking why I had come (GERD) and what was my age. Could not follow the chronology of my symptoms. I do not recommend
He is the best! I have been dealing with GI issues for 6 years and everyone gave up until I was referred to him(5 years ago)! He actually listened to what I was saying and believed me! We have figured some things out along the way and he still hasn’t given up on me! I recommend him to anyone I know with GI issues!
2nd colonoscopy with the bloke. Energetic, enthusiastic and passionate. I really enjoy his energy. Unabashedly recommend, especially for those who don't mind a little lively banter and good rock music in the ER.
Dr. Laing was my GI doc for almost 4 years. He was THE ONLY doctor to believe I the symptoms I communicate despite negative test results and referred me to his mentor when reaching a dead end. Never gave up on me and I now live a better quality of life. He may speak fast, but will repeat if need be. His staff (phone nurse, receptionists) were my only obstacles.
Dr. Laing is an amazing dr and has awesome bedside manner. He is very easy to talk to and explains everything so you can understand it. Just love him. Would reccommend him to anyone who needs a gastro dr.??????
