He ignored most of my prior diagnoses, would not listen to me when I tried to clarify things, talked down to me, and insisted that all my health issued are due to CNS pain malfunctions. He ignored functional neuro symptoms and insisted that I don't have any structural issues despite HSD diagnosis and strong family history. My PT was horrified.I messaged to ask followup questions about his conclusions (his advice doesn't actually follow PRT protocols in the literature). He dismissed all my healthcoping skills; treated me as I... read more

The surgeon was so aggressive during surgery 6 months post-op I now have permanent nerve damage. i was not offered pain medication. The doctor will not take accountability while I'm forced to live in pain.

My first impression from meeting Doctor Chan was how his very pleasant demeanor and the fact that he was prepared to discuss my issues. He took time prior to meeting me to study my file. He is a very good listener and treated me with respect. He showed real concern and treated me as an individual, not a number. Very rare to find his type of Physician in today's corporate money hungry field.

She didn’t listen to or hear you when you relay to her the weight loss pill wasn’t working. She got mad, had an attitude and told my daughter to come back when she was serious about losing weight. She said this when my daughter said that to her. As if it was my daughter’s fault the pill didn’t work. Wants you to come back regularly in order to get more medicine or to change the medicine. Acted like my daughter wasn’t trying to loose weight. Was only nice on the first visit.

Dr. Leyton always listens to what is going on with my back. Appointments in the beginning ran late, but probably because he was giving them the same care I was getting. Now that my accident isn't fresh, I don't need as much time. We have found what works. We mostly just make sure there are no bad side effects starting and refill meds. Every 12 to 18 months we do a medial branch block. As of October 2025, he no longer does virtual appointments.

If your problem can be expressed in charts and hard data, she's good. If you have issues that requires multiple consecutive sentences to convey, don't bother. I felt disrespected and unheard: unable to speak without being repeatedly interrupted with non sequiturs; concerns glibly dismissed if they couldn't be shown in the results of my blood work; literally had to chase her down the hallway to get her to let me finish explaining my health problems. She was more concerned about my diet pop consumption (which showed up in the ... read more
