After being dismissed and misdiagnosed by another rheumatologist, I went to Dr. Mancera. I am beyond grateful that I did. From the very first appointment, he listened to me carefully, reviewed all my symptoms and previous lab results, and immediately took me seriously. He ordered new blood work and explained everything in a way that made me feel both informed and at ease. Thanks to his thoroughness and attention to detail, I finally received the correct diagnoses and treatment.

My lupus flare up ( rash) was diagnosed as possible bed bugs and asked to buy a new mattress. After sharing with him this was going on for months and that my husband had no signs of rash. I Went to an allergist as well and she said the rash looked nothing like a bed bug,. Dr. mancera did not bother to see me or read my results anymore. He simply passed my file to the nurse practitioner and prescribed more allergy medication.
