I had a severe case of bunion and a hammer toe. Dr Spitz operated on both using minimally invasive technique without using any hardware (screws or wires), and I'm very happy with the outcome. His office personnel is very friendly and helpful, and I can say the same about Dr. Spitz himself. I am currently undergoing physical therapy, and my foot is healing nicely and everything looks great so far.
Thank you Dr.Spitz and his staff! I had a painful bunions and hammertoes for many years and I couldn't walk without experiencing a lot of pain. I’m writing this on behalf of my dad who hunted me down to make sure I write an excellent recommendation for Dr Spitz. He said he found him through an ad and he said he was extremely happy how he found a doctor and he treated him accurately for his long term foot problem for an ingrown toenail. Dr.Spitz is a very good doctor. I had a good experience in his office. It was easy to make an appointment and his staff were welcoming. Would highly recommended Dr.Spitz for any ankle/foot pain.
I live in RI and don’t have certified in-state doctors. I called Dr. Spitz to schedule a consultation. Prior to the visit he prescribed MRI. Besides flat feet I had spurs. Dr. Spitz thoroughly described the procedure. Dr. Spitz made very convenient for me surgery arrangements, including schedule and all the necessary tests. Doctor performed surgeries on my left and right foot, installing Hyprocure devices and removing the spurs. All the office and hospital stuff treated me professionally.
I visited Dr 2 times in last 2 weeks. Dr provided professional help, ordered cream for me( meds was delivered to my home) and I am filling much better at this time, thank you very much.

I had a bunion and hammertoe surgery of my left foot with another doctor 1 year ago in the hospital. After the surgery I had discomfort in my left foot. I wasn't able to wear shoes without the pain. My second toe was curling under the 3rd toe. I was advised to see Dr.Spitz. Dr.Spitz took the time to explain and answer all my questions. He performed surgery in his office in his equipped surgical suite. Minimal invasive method allowed him to correct my toe through 2 tiny incisions. Great surgeon!
Not worth your time This person should not even be called a doctor. Very unsophisticated person. All he and his wife carry about is money. First consultation supposed to be free, but as soon as I decided to go under surgery with him, they charged my insurance for first consultation $250!!! I received all the claims that Spitz sent to the insurance, he charged for the services he has not provided!!! He lied in his medical pre surgery record so BEWARE of him.
