This man has got to be THE worst "doctor" ever. He was rude to me and any time I or my husband had questions he wouldn't give us a straight answer he would just mumble and walk out. I was fed up with it and I changed doctors. Later in my pregnancy I ended up having to have an Emergency c-section. And boy am I glad I switched doctors. I have seen Dr. Amiewalan for over a year now. Was Referred to him when I had problems with my period and pelvic pain. He was very nice. He preformed surgery on me in January. Prior to the surgery I read the comments on here about him and thought about cancellingmy surgery. I didn't. I had no problems. My pain is pretty much gone. Still on the birth control he gave me. i went to dr amie the first weeks of my pregnancy, now when i want to change dr's i cant get ahold of him to get my medical records.... his number is disconnected.... now i have to start all over and i am already 3 months pregnant..... this "Dr" is a joke and i wouldnt see him again ever, he put me on iron pills, without checking my iron levels, which in turn made me very very sick, i stopped the iron pills and like magic i am not sick anymore, dont see this dr if you dont have too!
As a woman and a mom, Please do not go to or let anyone you know see this Dr (ad i use the term docotro loosly). This man made numerous mistake during what should have been a routine procedure, then never bothered telling anyone. He sent me home and when i became very sick he told the emergency room doctor that i was crazy and it was a panic attack. When Dr. Amie's (the name he goes by now),diagnosis did not add up to me I decided to get a second opinion. I went to the hospital to get the results of the tests he had ordered there so I would have accurate information when calling another doctor. Was shocked when I read the lab reports and found out the results were very, very different then what Dr. Amie had told me. Doctor Amie delivered my daughter in 2006, and I thought he did a wonderful job. I recommended him to several others, and now that I am pregnant again, I am going to him for a second time. I have 2 pregnant friends that are also going to him, because of me, and they agree, that he is compassionate and very knowlegeable.
I just found this sight and am so relieved to find I am not crazy. Saw this doctor for what I thought was a minor problem, within seconds of meeting me he is insisting on scheduling several procedures without even an exam. Now refuses to answer my questions, only wants to schedule yet MORE "procedures". My instincts tell me to run as fast as I can to another doctor, thank you, to the two woman who have posted for confirming my suspicions!
Just happened to see this website by chance, I used Dr. Amie when he was in Ohio and had multiple complications giving birth to my child.
Had surgery--many complications since--he was found forging my documents--under investigation now--cannot practice at other hospital in town--just found he has revoked license in Ohio for same thing..was denied med license in Kansas also.
