This man made me cry. He has a horrible bedside manner. I had the sweetest ob in another state had to move here. He really is very egotistical and snide. An electronic kiosk would be more efficient than Kim, Dr. Canales' medical so-called "assistant." She is not only NOT helpful, but she's condescending as well. Dr. C has been my Physician of Record for over 7 years on my BWC case, so I have a ton of experience with this office. While Dr. Canales is a talented surgeon, his support team is way BELOW average. Office called less than an hour and a half before my appointment to cancel my appointment and said she was on call. Why would you schedule my appointment a year in advance and then be in call and cancel me right before my appointment? This cost me almost $200 with work.

I love the staff, they were so good to me! Dr. Desalvo was great, he explained everything to me and I felt so comfortable with him. He is a professional not my best friend, so I understand when he has a short bedside manner he has other patients to handle but he did treat me right.
If you enjoy not being helped and incredibly rude staff this is the place for you. I’ve have a UTI for over three weeks and this office never once called with my results, after contacting them SEVERAL times they then informed me twice no one could read my results. Mind you, UTI’s untreated HURT. I then get a call back after I snapped on the receptionist for two weeks for them to say there is no UTI. HA! Horrendous billing practices! Check with your insurance. I am very pregnant and covered at 100% with maternity care. Well I kept receiving bills for copays. Turns out he was diagnosing me with amennorhea ( LACK OF PERIOD) . No mention of pregnancy. Of course I don't have a period! Im PREGNANT! Do NOT go here if you want honest and reputable
Referred by my OB/GYN, to her partner, Dr. Gingo, for a external labioplasty procedure. I found out yeas later, Dr. Gingo was not privileged by the hospital, nor board certified to perform plastic surgery. After surgery, I had extreme Gastrointestinal problems. I could not have sexual relations with husband, I had been cut and sewn almost shut. It took almost two years to regain function.
