The Children's Hospital at VCU is a stunning building that is incredibly kid-friendly. The staff are well-versed with their population, kind, and at times, humorous. Our wait time (2 visits thus far) has been minimal. Dr. Irani has an excellent bedside manner. She and her staff (including medical students) provided significantly beneficial support for our issues (which happened to be rare). Dr. Irani is the most amazing doctor that I’ve ever seen. She took time to explain to me everything about my daughter’ possibly allergy. She triple checked is she was allergic to peanuts because the first “ scratch” test (it was done with a different doctor)came out positive, the second and the third came out negative (done by her) so just to make sure she did a blood test also and that came out positive. As well her nurses were amazing and very patient. I would highly recommend her.
