I always have had outstanding experiences at this office . First, scheduling of the appointments was completed according to my schedule and treatment plan and procedures were all explained thoroughly. Office is modern and the tv was a nice distraction while my work was performed. I would recommend for sure!
Had multiple crowns on the same tooth. Unnecessarily suffered for years. No other dentist office would work on the tooth because they were unsure of what Dr. Finkler did to it. I had a crown done on another tooth and was in agonizing pain after the Novocaine wore off. She didn't want to see me and suggested another dentist whose office I switched to after that horrible experience.
Can't even provide a co-pay insurance estimate within one week for a crown and filling. Took 2-months! Dental insurer confirmed one-week turnaround is reasonable. Also, added an extra $250. to bill for dental implant; they said they made an error, after receiving 3-months of payments agreed to, and indicated co-pays from us and insurer alone would leave them without profit!
Staff appears to be incapable of providing reliable estimates for dental work. Dental insurance firm informed us that dental service estimates are not provided by them, but on an individual basis by each dentist because dental service costs are negotiated between the dental insurance firm and each dentist. As a result, we contacted the dentist's office (using its email address), and requested estimates for two types of dental services. Sought resolution of bill not matching original estimate for dental work. Instead, was encouraged by dentist to consider finding another dentist with dental records transferred ... unprofessional.
Molar filling - after being treated at the dental office for a small cavity, spit out blood in dental office bathroom sink, got home and experienced some discomfort and pain at or near the treated molar. Decided to take ibuprofen over several days, which helped. Dentist was made aware of the bleeding right after it happened in the dental office and demonstrated no concern, just said gum got irritated during the procedure. Dentist had to make several attempts to get wraparound support in-place to complete the filling.
Over past 2-years, received bogus staff estimates for dental implant and dental filling. Dental management does not express interest to improve.
Shows no appreciation for being a longstanding customer, paying thousands of dollars over many years.
Provided misleading co-pay insurance information.
