In addition, I have a special interest in autism and learning disorders in children and adults. It is important to have those routine checkups as well, to catch issues before they become problems.

I made an appointment as a new patient back in May. I have been waiting three months for the appointment because that was the earliest that they could schedule me. I am new to the area and need a new primary care physician and have been having a health concern that I needed looked at right away. It took me 5 months to get in for my new patient visit. I explained to the receptionist that I would not be able to make it 30 minutes prior to my appointment but I could do 15 minutes prior since I live an hour away. I'm new to the area and needed a doctor to maintain my chronic illness. Booked a physical and the wait is 5 months. Because I have ulcerative colitis and have been hemorrhaging for a couple months and running out of meds, I booked an appointment with Dr Chu's office today. Receptionist was one of the worst I've ever seen. Berated me for the better part of 10 minutes that I should have come in earlier (there was still plenty of time to do paperwork and for them to enter it, there was at least 20 minutes before appointment).
