I had a colonoscopy. Dr. Hanna was calm, quick, and thorough. I was given an information sheet with photos of the procedure (in addition to the opportunity to ask questions) before I left. His staff was wonderful! Absolutely recommend!!
I was very, very sick and was scheduled to have my colon and rectum removed in June of this year, when Dr. Hanna was brought in to review my condition. After he reviewed my files and spoke to me he said "I'm going to save your colon". I know it's only 3 months later, but I am 100% better, working towards remission and taking a combination of (2) very powerful medications. After receiving a "positive" result on a Cologuard test, I was referred for to Dr Hanna for a colonoscopy. At the office visit, he was very reassuring and brought my anxiety level down immediately. The colonoscopy experience was efficient and over before I knew it. He and his staff were friendly and professional, the facility was spotless, and I really appreciated the printed information and photos provided after the procedure. Had a colonoscopy. Procedure went smoothly. No complications. Everyone involved treated me professionally. Dr. Hanna reviewed results and answered all my questions. From appointment to procedure, I give Dr. Hanna and his entire team excellent marks!!
I was a little nervous about my first colonoscopy. My procedure was performed on time and the office was very clean and pleasant. I was surrounded by a group of staff members during my time who were all so attentive, friendly and reassuring. Dr. Anis Hanna came in with such a compassionate bedside manner and didn't make me feel rushed as I asked questions and expressed my anxiety. He was very reassuring. I would highly recommend Tucson Gastroenterology Institute Specialists. It was a very positive experience.
I had a colonoscopy and an endoscope with Dr. Hanna and his team this morning. The highest compliments are in order. Friendly, efficient, full explanations, overall a great experience - other than the prep which goes with the procedure. I rarely give compliments and would and do recommend highly Dr. Hanna, his partners and his nursing and administrative team.

Dr. Hanna is a well educated, experienced gastroenterologist. He has a very busy practice, but when I had an emergency, he helped to get me an appointment though he was booking way out several months. His staff makes one feel comfortable and treats one with respect. His office is immaculate. He is kind and gentle and explains everything, patiently to you I highly recommend him and his office
