I've been seeing Dr H as recommended by my PCP for about 14 years. Each time I was pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of her staff. She's a gem. I enjoy each period of conversation with her. She is knowledgeable and confident and has a great sense of humor. I have found her both personable and professional and I've always believed I received the best care and medical advise possible from her and her staff.

I have seen Dr. H for several colonoscopies and an endoscopy. I found her and her staff to be kind and caring. During my last colonoscopy, there were numerous delays at the surgical center and Dr. H came in to check on me herself. I have always had good experiences with her practice.

I was referred to Dr. Hutzenbuhler by my primary NP for chronic GI issues. Dr. Hutzenbuhler answered all of my questions. I ended up having an endoscopy and colonoscopy and was very very very anxious about the procedures. During prep for them, I was left alone for a bit and she came in to sit with me because she knew I was so worried. Her entire team is friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

I have had 3 colonoscopies with Dr. Hutzenbuhler. I have never had a bad experience with her or her staff. She immediately upon our first visit saw my anxiety about the procedure and told me she would use the pediatric scope since I am of a petite build! Thank goodness for that !

I was wheeled in early for my procedure. Woke up in extreme pain, and the nurses just rushed me out. I ended up in emergency room within 4 hours after leaving facility with a very serious condition from the surgery. This is a "factory mill" type system without any regard to patient care. There was no care or compassion; just a hurry the patient in and hurry the patient out. Most hospitals would have immediately sent me over to emergency. Instead the nurses and Dr. H just hurried me out....

My husband went to Dr. Hutzenbuhler with concerns for possible food intolerance. We were unhappy because she spoke to him as if he had the maturity of a child. The end result was a colonoscopy scheduled for a month later, a decision I wasn't entirely sure about. When we realized the paperwork she had given us had faulty instructions, such as the time scheduled to finish the medication was listed as being AFTER he arrived for the procedure, we called and cancelled the appointment. Stay away.

If there were a negative star, I would select it. Dr. Hutzenbuhler has her staff ask all questions on her behalf. Once she is in the room, she immediately will diagnose you with something before asking questions or testing you for anything. Her go-to diagnosis is IBS. She also treated me like a child, describing terms as if I were 5. She said that I am young, so my issues are likely related to stress. STEAR CLEAR. She's a train wreck. Her nurse and PA are great, however. They should quit.
