I saw Dr. Hutzenbuhler for the preventative colonoscopy procedure. I wanted to use her services because she treated a relative, who spoke highly of Dr. Hutzenbuhler. I found Dr. Hutzenbuhler to be knowledgeable, kind and personable. She listens, and answers questions. Although the prep is really the worst of the colonoscopy, it is a necessity! I highly recommend Dr. Angela Hutzenbuhler.
I was seen by this office in 2018. I still feel dehumanized and I wanted to leave a review. I am still fighting IBS or whatever this is no one has given me an answer yet. I was treated like cattle being shoved from place to place and no concern or kindness was shown the entire time. An endoscopy and colonoscopy were done at the same time. I had a horrible reaction to the Prep drink that I had to drink two bottles of before the procedure. The worst stomach and intestinal pain I have ever had, I was in tears for hours the next... read more
I'm shocked that she gets even one good review. She literally stumbled into the room like a person who had been at a party the night before and was still hung over. She was disorganized, distracted and the only word that really fits her is ditzy. All she did was push for a colonoscopy after telling me she could do nothing to help me. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
She talks to you as if you are a child. And if she’s not talking, she is staring at you as if calculating how she can manipulate you. When she could not convince me to have a random surgery, she wrote immature notes (“patient was crying and being silly”) in my medical files….I had to pass these files to my new GI, who had me try medication for stomach ulcer….no more symptoms!
Dr. Hutzenbuhler has been my gastroenterolgist for 16 years. She went out of her way to help me, a mere thank you is not sufficient. I am eternally grateful to this woman.
I have been seeing her for over 15 years. She makes sure you understand everything and is great at answering questions. I would highly reccomend her.
First time I saw her she mocked me for my issues and told me I was crazy. Months of still having issues, I tried to follow up and she not her staff would call me back. I found a new doctor who quickly diagnosed my issue and has been helping me on my road to recovery. Dr. Hutzenbuhler clearly does not care for others and should not be a doctor at all.
I had severe bleeding after she removed a polyope and had to be rushed to the ER, 33,000.00$ So my opinion is not a good one.
This is an exceptional doctor. She is efficient, in command of her specialty and just plain likable. Four colonoscopies later - it hasn't changed. Staff admires and respects her and this translates into every step and small courtesy of the visit. I could ask for nothing more and after 15 years, the consistency and professionalism and ease of the "big day" procedure - could not be at a higher level. Put my life in her hands. HECK YES.
