I'm having hard time with this. My first encounters with Dr S were amazing. Everyone in his office was polite. My most recent visit has me very upset. I went in for severe foot pain. After x rays the Dr told me I messed my foot up. I had a dislocation and fracture. He wanted a CT to see how bad I messed it up. Was told after making CT appt to call office to set up follow up. Trying to call and make an appointment and get on the schedule is frustrating and difficult. The front desk staff is grumpy and difficult to work with. Often they don't answer their phone and it just rings and rings. They're rushed in appointments and don't listen. This provider obviously has too many patients at a time but seems to try and juggle them for money over quality care. Don't expect more than 10 min and a doctor who can't fully listen to your issues.

Unprofessional and dismissive of my issues. He was rude and I felt gaslit. When I went to see him for a broken toe he gave me the option to take a few more weeks off of work and I chose to return to work. And after my work and I coming to the conclusion that I need more restrictions he refuses saying I shouldn’t of taken any time off of work and that I wasn’t in pain. I really felt good about my visit with Dr. Shinabarger and his staff. I felt very cared for. I would definitely recommend him for your foot or ankle issues.
