Was introduced to Dr. Moorhead for gallbladder removal. During the consultation visit, he explained the procedure to my satisfaction, and answered all my questions and concerns. He was attentive during the visit and was not in a hurry to be somewhere else, like some doctors are. After surgery, he checked in with me during recovery and kept my family informed of my status. We meet with Dr. Moorhead on a Wed and left his office feeling so informed, comfortable with his diagnosis, him and his staff that he preformed the surgery on the following Mon.
In 2012 my intestine ruptured in Dr. Grissos office in Asheboro from diverticulitis. They called an ambulance to Grissos office. At the hospital I needed immediate emergency surgery. I asked for Moorehead who I had heard about previously. He came to the hospital. performed a colonostomy, reversed it in 3 months, repaired 2 hernias I received from weightlifting with a colonostomy bag. Have a mesh size of a license plate,& 2 colonocopys all in 9 mos. Other than scar I am perfect!!! Hes the best!
