Dr Rokito takes his time with his patients. Doesn't rush to surgery.He listens and examines his patients very carefully and explains everything very clearly. He is an amazing Doctor.
Very pleasant, professional and reassuring.. Not looking to dive in with a scalpel..I really enjoyed seeing him for issue with my frozen right shoulder I will continue to see him for my treatment plan…He is a credit to the profession!!!!! Dr Rokito's bedside manners, his approach to doing everything possible before surgery gave me all the confidence in his abilities and diagnosis.
I went to see this doctor with shoulder and neck pain.My hand was getting numb and I couldn't turn my neck properly. On my visit I brought with me xrays and MRI. He told me that it was a year old and he needed new images. Spoke with me 7 minutes, his examination was squeeze my hands. Yes you have significant strength loss on right side. Dr Rokito is an amazing physician and surgeon. He got me in quickly to assess my shoulder and did not rush the surgery. I am now on the mend and recovering quite well. I would highly recommend his services.
Dr. Rokito enjoys and has earned a huge reputation in New York for being one of its premier orthopedic surgeons. Came for shoulder pain. Got mailed a one-size-fits-all exercise program for an UNdiagnosed pain. NO to that. I also got a physical therapy referral for the Wrong shoulder, leading with a symptom I did NOT have and telling the physical therapist that it was His job to "rule out rotator cuff tear." What? I thought that was the radiologist's job! My PT does not have magnetic resonance eyes. Rokito had my MRI results for a week & didn’t contact me. Dr. Rokito is a pompous, egotistical, rude individual. He performed reconstructive acl surgery on my right knee about one month ago and I am having complications as a result of his ineptitude. He is quick to blame the patient and insulted me on a follow-up visit when I asked him a question regarding my knee. Please be wary of visiting Dr. Rokito's office, as I would advise you to find another surgeon to perform any knee/shoulder operations.
Dr Rokito did ACL surgery for me in 2001, and other ACL in 2006 (sports accidents). He and team are completely professional and capable. I experienced full and excellent recovery. Strongly recommend him. 15 years later both knees are still excellent.
