Dr. Monfee has been my, and my family, primary healthcare provider for almost 30 years. As a Senior Diplomat with the State Department and USAID, my family and I lived and served in several states and at least seven countries. I always used him as my doctor. My experiences have been mostly good, there is one office employee that has been nasty, but overall good experience. She is kind of short and stocky, dark hair, perhaps billing or medical records, hateful person.
Monfee refused to fill all my prescriptions for over a year. Lab test Sept 2018 showed stage 3 kidney failure. In-house tests performed in Jan2020 showed no signs of any kidney problems. When you are in kidney failure it is very important to keep blood sugars and Blood pressure under control plus being denied medications for edema did not help. I have been going to Dr Monfee's practice for 5 years. I have always found them to be very helpful. They go out of their way to listen to what I am saying and to help me. If I have a problem, they have always gone the extra mile to get me right in. Any doctor they have ever referred me to have also been good. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Had to see one of Monfees associates just to get some prescriptions filled only to be screamed at and told to leave because he did not have the professional etiquette to ask why I felt a certain way about medications. He has a anger management problem and should not be seeing any patients. I felt very unsafe and no one should ever be treated that way any where, especially at a medical clinic. Need not see this doctor for anything major. If he does not like your meds, he will remove them and you end up having the health problems you previous had and need to find another doctor to restore that med to you.
