This was my one year check up for my second hip replacement. I thought that my first one was good, but my experience with Dr. Wassef was even better. I have no pain at all. I wish I had found him sooner. He treats you like the only person in the world which does run up the wait times. But Dr. Wassef is worth it
Problem is not with the doctor but with some front office staff. When inaccuracies were found in my records and tried to correct with Christine?, started getting attitude as if we were wasting her time. After that it was clear that each subsequent contact would not get good cooperation, even with the task of getting insurance authorization for prescription. Well, I am still waiting to hear back from the Lakewood Orthopedic office so I can come in. It seem that it takes an Act of Congress to get an appointment! Why is it so difficult to be seen in this day and age. Just doesn't seem like doctors care anymore.
we love the down to earth personality he has and how up front he was with my husbands treatment... we're forever greatful!!!
Dr.Wassef was very professional all the the time with me and when I had my surgery I didn't have the chance to speak with him after but he informed my sister of my care and he called me the next day to check up on me,he has always been very attentive of my care. I would definitely recommend him to anybody that I know.

If it were not for Dr. Andrew Wassef I would be in a wheelchair. He told me he had never had a patient like me - both fake hips infected at the same time, plus a fungus and the infection on the right hip. To clear up the whole mess required four (4) surgeries and most of 2014!! He truly is a credit to his profession. My surgery went without a hitch the score was minimal the pain was minimal. I have wonderful team in the surgery room as well as therapy. My recovery was quite fast and I thank him for that. Looks like I'll have the right one done soon. I highly recommend him He's a wonderful doctor.
The doctor is very attentive and easily communicates what all is going to be happening. I liked that he spoke directly to me rather than just my mother. Other doctors just assume that because i bring my mother that she is the one making decisions. I also liked the staff because they were very helpful.
