I went to this doctor about 17 years ago with knee swelling. He took X-rays and said I had an astounding loss of cartilage for a woman my age --then mid 40s. He knew: 1) that my right patella had twice been dislocated and 2) that I had audible crepitus in both knees in my teens. Recently, my usual guy who took X-rays.
