I had a diagnostic colonoscopy with Dr. Cummins. I tried to figure out the cost of the procedure multiple times, I kept being told someone would call me back. I never received the cost. Then, two weeks after my appointment, I didn't hear about the biopsy results. I called the practice as this is a new issue and he didn't give me any instructions on what to do following the colonoscopy. I had gastric bypass a couple of months ago and had a bad experience with my gastric Dr and GI Dr. I was referred to Dr Cummins and today was my first visit. Dr Cummins and his office staff were so compassionate. It was reassuring. I feel like someone cares and is going to help get me through this. I would highly recommend Dr Cummins definitely.
My previous Gastroenterologist, Dr. Kevin Haynes, retired a couple of years ago, and have since been going to his associate, Dr. Cummins. I'm a previous Stage 4 colon cancer patient and although in remission for five years, still have multiple health issues. I have undergone outpatient procedures with Dr. Cummins and he also prescribed medication that has eased bloating and cramping. I've found Dr. Cummins to be experienced, caring and knowledgeable
