Dr. Lee is an absolutely exceptional pediatrician. Our family has trusted her with our children's care since their births (now ages 13 and 15). Even after moving out of the area, my kids insist on continuing to see her—a true testament to her connection with her patients. Dr. Lee is highly responsive and has demonstrated extraordinary attentiveness during medical emergencies. We'll never forget how she immediately called to check on my son after an ER visit for a severe anaphylactic episode. She is simply the best.
Don't go to Dr. Lee. She has the worst bedside manner. There are MUCH better pediatricians at Kaiser to go with. I asked what I thought was a reasonable question about whether it's safe to breastfeed if I am on antibiotics that my child's father is allergic to. After my pharmacist confirmed that the medication is transferred through breastmilk and suggested I request an allergy test for my child, I made the same day appointment with Dr. Lee to discuss it.
