Excellent physician. He is always up to date on treatment options. Dr. B is positive and thoughtful and listens attentively to my concerns. I feel like I am part of every decision. I have recovered a lot of my functional living skills while still battling chronic pain and, I feel like I will continue to improve. His office staff are warm and caring and the clinic atmosphere is pleasant.
I found Dr. Barkhuizen to be a compassionate and attentive physician. I also liked his staff a great deal and I attended that clinic for more than 25 years. However, recently with staff turnover, I found myself in the care of a new person who simply was unable to insert a needle into my hand for my infusion. this person told me i was hard to stick and she often was unable to get the needle in after a number of sticks. As I result I had to change physicians. Very disappointing.
