I was so pleased with my experience with Dr. Edwards. She listened carefully to me and prescribed medications that were immensely helpful. I was able to feel like myself again because of her. I am so thankful for her kindness and expertise.
Been seeing Dr Edwards for 3 years she is my 3 doctor and by far the best. Really cares and makes sure she is helping me have a better quality of life.
This lady should not be in this practice. She is cold hearted and does not seem to care at all! She diagnosed me without hardly knowing anything about me and I always felt very rushed during our appointments. She would just give me a new drug to try every time then send me on my way, when all the drugs she would give me made me feel horrible and I am also very suicidal and it’s effected me terribly. I saw Dr. Edward's and I was applaud when she looked at my records and said" I dont prescribe Adderall, I dont believe in it" . Well I'm not there for your personal opinion. I have had great success on it. But I tried it her way and it was absolutely terrible. I went to another doctor and he was very unhappy with her professionalism!
I was appalled at the ineptitude and lack of professionalism demonstrated both by the doctor and office staff. Personal history and clinical test results were ignored and disputed. The doctor was unwilling and unable to discuss a variety of treatment options. She is rigid, arrogant, and severely incompetent. Save yourself time, energy, and money by choosing another clinic.
We have seen Dr. Edwards many times and I refer my clients to her because I have been impressed with her care of my child. She encouraged an emotional support dog in addition to meds and counseling. I have seen a dramatic increase in my child's happiness and functioning over the past year and a half since we have been seeing Dr. Edwards. She may seem direct and "uninvolved" but that is the difference between psychiatry and counseling. Counselors do the "touchy feely" stuff and she does meds.
Very professional, open and honest. New patients must understand that the good Doctor has heard and seen everything in her 20 plus years of care. She might seem short with you but it only because she is five steps ahead of you. My overall impression with her is that she cares. I was treated with dignity and respect. She listen to me and was objected. I have been to different Doctors only to find them very ridged in thought. This was not the case with Dr. Amy Edwards.
First time visit her she was very mean . Did not listen to my problems.very rude .this dr was only my insurance list unfortunately in this area .since I moved to here .I can't believe this kind of rude mean doctor in the world .I have bad ptsd and depression . *
