The best appointment I've ever had with a doctor. Dr. Hakim spent almost an hour with me, patiently wading through and answering any question I had regarding my medical concern. What's more, she entered the appointment completely up-to-date on my medical history; she had taken the time to read through every test result and had them all printed out in front of her as well. She walked me through everything chronologically and basically taught me more about what was happening in my body. I am forever grateful to her!
I just want to say wonderful things about this awesome amazing doctor. She helped take good care of me from the beginning of my horrible journey of having a large pelvic mass almost thinking it was cancer and she always kept my health care as top priority and any concerns that I had she was quick to address them. I was Dr. Hakim's oncology patient. I am now Dr. Hakim's victim. In December 2021 Dr. Hakim performed a radical hysterectomy to remove Stage 1 Uterine Cancer. Something happened during my surgery. I woke up in ICU with a tube down my throat. Not the usual post op care for a hysterectomy. Though I was on strong pain medications, I asked why I was in ICU. The answers were vague.
