Very caring. An asset to the Albany GA community
I noted recently that the office building in Stuart on Federal Highway which housed this practice is empty and for sale. I called the office phone number and left a message to contact me on three occasions; no response. I have called twice again to note that I am cancelling my June 3, 2019 annual visit appointment and have received no response. Any idea what happened????
I HAVE BEEN TREATED BY BOTH DRS. KUMAR AND BROUGHT MY 90+ YEAR OLD PARENTS TO AMITABH. BOTH DOCTORS WERE ACCOMODATING AND HELPFUL. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO SEND ANYONE TO THEIR CARE. I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN SHEETAL AS MY PCP, BUT MY INSURANCE WASN'T ACCEPTED. BOTH DOCTORS ARE A VALUABLE ASSET TO THE STUART COMMUNITY. THE PROBLEMS PRESENTED EACH DOCTOR WERE WELL DIAGNOSED, EXPLAINED AND TREATED APPROPRIATELY.
I had scheduled a follow up appointment with Dr Kumar to discuss the results of my recent colonoscopy. When I arrived at the St Lucie office I was told I did NOT have and appointment (?) I rescheduled, and when I arrived I was asked to pay a $200+ balance that insurance did not cover. I was not aware of this, so naturally I could not pay. I was told that I would not be able to see the doctor unless I paid this. Are you kidding me?? And with that I walked out! totally unprofessional office staff.
Was misdiagnosed and spent almost 3 years on meds with very bad side effects. Office turned my last bill that had been paid over to collection agency after I produced proof that it had been paid the agency and Kumar ended all communications. Still waiting for my medical records that I had requested 3 months ago. Am now considering a malpractice suit. His Port St Lucie staff including his PA, Jennifer, which is where I went the last few visits is MUCH better.
Doctor was OK but because of rude, incompetent office staff I am going elsewhere.
Dr Kumar did a colonoscopy on me and perforated my bowels and it almost killed me. I was taken by ambulance unconscious and stayed almost that way for 8 days and 14 days total in hospital. And now I have had 3 surgeries because of this.
I really like this doctor. My 21 year old daughter had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done by him. He was extremely thorough and took the extra time to explain results and recommendations. Highly recommend. I do have to say the woman who works the front desk is very slow and not the friendliest of individuals but IMO the doctor made up what she lacked and then some.
Wonderful doctor. My husband and I both go to him and we are very satisfied. He is the most caring doctor I have ever dealt with. I had a very serious problem and he was able to put me and my husband at ease with his demeanor and he followed me regularly until the diagnosis was made. He took very good care of me.
