I first met Dr. Mittal for a Cardiac Medical Clearance in 2015, which was required prior to a surgical procedure. He was forthright in the exam with clear and very easily understood information about the exam and what would take place. The exam was a very comprehensive and accomplished without incident. After my surgery, I required a follow up due to Blood pressure abnormalities I discovered at home after my surgical procedure. Dr. Mittal is a great doctor. I think if you are looking for a cardiologist that cares for his patience, he is the doctor for you. When talking with Dr. Mittal it is not like talking with your doctor it is like talking with a friend. He is also very professional too.
Dr. Mittal could NOT have been better! Wait time was short, but most impressive was that he was able to isolate the ENZYME that is the likely culprit for my reaction the nuclear medicine used for non-stress tests . He unashamedly confirmed his suspicion by calling another cardiologist...while I listened! He then concluded that it was better not to take the chance and immediately knew what the next step should be. Very impressive! I would absolutely recommend Dr. Mittal as your heart-health doctor!
Dr. Mittal is one of the few doctors I feel comfortable with. His is a caring doctor and listens to what you have to say. His bedside manner is a plus. He does not rush you and explains everything you need to know about the medical problem you have. I give him 5 stars and would refer him to family and friends.
Dr. Mittal saved my life back in 2014 when he thought I needed a cardio cataterzation to check for any blockages in my heart because I was having an ache in my left arem. He sent me to Sinai Hospital in Baltimore for the procedure and sure enough they found an 80% blockage in the LAD artery (ie..widow maker atery).
Our daughter was referred for an immediate cardiac evaluation, so we scheduled an appointment with Dr. Mittal, referred by our pediatrician. We did not know what to expect and were overwhelmed with worry and uncertainty about our 17 year old daughter's health.
