What an absolutely fantastic doctor. I saw him in the Tyler office in Aug 2024 and he was extremely thorough in discussing my recent liver issues, and he was knowledgeable and thoughtful in sharing his vast experience and coming up with a plan going forward. I would highly recommend Dr. Amar Mahgoub. I feel like I am in great hands and that peace of mind is invaluable.
Dr. great except he doesn’t make notes in my charttells me to send my chart messages to remind him to send orders. When I send a message his nurse says there are no notes to do a specific diagnostic test & I have to send many messag to her explaining why. very frustrating he doesn’t answer his own messages and can’t remember what he told me to do. The nurse acts like she’s got one up on you. It’s extremely frustrating! It’s not the way it should be handled w/Sarcoidosis my liver!!
Dr. Mahgoub is an excellent specialist. His approach is professional, knowledgeable and caring. Visits with him are therapeutic and encouraging. We are happy that we met him and can use his expertise.
