I have been a patient of Dr. Kaplan for many years now; I treasure her for improving my health! Dr. Kaplan is a TOP-NOTCH doctor who focuses on total health and preventive care. Instead of placing a Band-Aid over an existing health issue, she finds the root cause to cure the issue and improve overall wellness. Dr. Kaplan is brilliant in her field, she has a gentle soul, and a loving heart! Dr. Kaplan always takes her time and listens to me thoroughly and then guides me to wellness. Dr. Kaplan exceeded my expectations, above ... read more
I have seen Dr. Kaplan for years. Every time I go in to the office she can's get my prescription's correct. I always have to call into the office to get them corrected. The medical assistance are not helpful either. They just want me to make another appointment to see the doctor. They care nothing about their patience, they just want the office visit fees. I would not recommend this medical group and I will be finding a new doctor as well.
I've seen Dr. Kaplan for about four years. She is very current and competent; also works with residents at teaching hospital. I'm a retired RN so I know what to look for in a PCP. I would recommend her to anyone.
Firstly, when scheduling appointments, I have been instructed to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. However, despite adhering to this instruction, I consistently find myself waiting for over an hour before being seen.upon finally being seen, I have encountered a recurring issue with the nurse practitioner. Rather than engaging with my concerns and questions, the nurse practitioner appears preoccupied with her computer, continuously typing and appearing disinterested in addressing my worries. Any attempts to discu... read more
Very professional. Never rushed. Takes time to explain things and asks if you have any questions. I’m impressed.
Dr. Kaplan saved my life. She took one look at me when I came in to renew a prescription and said, "It's been a long time since I've seen you. Let me listen to your heart." That led to an in-office cardiogram, phone consult with cardiologist, and two hours later the emergency room was waiting for me. No atrial heartbeat, only ventricular. Sudden death potential. I went home with a pacemaker. I have a permanent respect for this calm, observant, very kind physician. The medical students she teaches are lucky to have her. So am... read more
Felt like I was being talked down to as a 'old' person and treated as such. Humiliated and angry at the same time. Ask where I hurt on my leg. I was surprised and said I didn't hurt. Then ask where my tummy hurt and I said I don't hurt anywhere. That is not what I came in for but my input and what I scheduled the appt for was not important. Disappointed
Very informative. Knowledgable
I have been taking an elderly friend to dr Kaplan for a couple of years. Dr Kaplan seems very thorough and caring. Her staff, if you try to call the office, is a whole different story. I called today and asked them if they could call friend and tell her if it was ok for her to take an extra blood pressure pill because she fell and broke her arm last week and the pain was raising blood pressure. By the time I was off the phone, my blood pressure was in need of help. very frustrating.
