She's been my son's Dr for 6 years, since he was 6 months old. She's always been good with my son, understanding, and listened to me.
I couldn't disagree more with some of the comments posted above. I felt like Dr. Block-Rissman truly cared about my child. She was thorough in her examination of my son and took the time to explain her findings. I did not feel rushed at all. In addition, my son responds positively to her as she is excellent with children.
Doctor lack basic manners how to talk and how to listen to patients. She has already predetermined mind to talk with patient rudly
Dr don't listen to you, without thinking she rush to some other conclusion. I have never seen such doctor in my whole life. Better to avoid her. Go to emergency or some other place.
Son saw Dr. Block when he was ill. It turned out our son was really ill & had to have blood taken & ended up getting very sick immediately afterwards. She was by his side helping him until it was okay for him to leave. How many Dr's do that! She called to check up on him & kept us updated all through the testing and healing process. She is fabulous and am a little shocked by some of the reviews on her. I drive 20 mls for this practice & it's worth every mile.
My daughter has been seeing Dr. Block since birth (almost 5 now). We love her. She is young and smart and has young children herself. As first time parents she always gave us great advice (and we needed a lot of it). When we do walk in appointments and Dr. Block is not the one covering them my daughter gets sad. Although the other doctors in the practice are also good we are always happy to see Dr. Block.
Impatient and rude. Suggested laxative/stool softener for toddler, rather than suggesting high fiber foods, etc.
Not too friendly. Sort of military feeling. I felt like maybe because I'm Hispanic I'm treated like this, but I guess I'm not the only one.
