I was a patient of Dr. Stewart. He was excellent. Unfortunately he is moving out of province so I need to find a new OB. I will miss him. I see some criticism on this site for the receptionist. I always found her great and sympathetic to any problems I had.
Worst OBGYN Dr Alison Salhani. I cannot emphasize more how insensitive she is and lacks bedside manners and compassion towards her patients, especially towards a pregnant woman who is in need of desperate, gentle care. My wife had a second-degree tear while giving birth to our baby - Salhani did not bother to wait and just rushed into stitching the tear. Dr. Salhani is very hard to get a hold of in emergency situations, and seems to hardly be at the office. I had to go to the emergency room multiple times because I could not contact my OB when I was bleeding through a pad and hour 4 months postpartum. She really doesn't seem to care about her patients nearly as much post-birth. She was okay during my pregnancy, and was always open about my options, though she did push for a c-section before I thought it was necessary. Dr Salhani is caring, professional and courteous. There's a nurse onsite which helps. The clinic is clean. Dr Salhani didn't deliver our baby but came promptly after delivery to check on the baby and mother. Highly recommend.
