I have been a patient of his since 2016 and he has performed 2 cervical and 1 lumbar surgery on me. Even though we have moved to SC, we still drive to Vinings for appointments. He is the best and I have referred family and friends to him. He and his staff are the best of the best and I only trust them with my orthopedic care. Dr. Mortazavi and his team are awesome! I’ve been a patient for a little over 3 years now and have had the best care. He and his staff, including his PA, Curtis, have been very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and understanding of my issues (and I’ve had some issues - and some very rare issues as well). I would (and have) recommend Dr Mortazavi to anyone seeking medical/surgical intervention for spine issues.
Dr. Mortizavi is a very good surgeon in his field of work. He takes the time to listen and sympathize with your issues requiring surgery and rehab! Was easy to talk with explaining my severe lower back pain issues and giving the best possible outcomes.
Dr Mortazavi is great! He takes the time to listen to your medical issues and lays out the treatment options for you. He’s very professional and has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend to see him if you have back pain or sciatica.

Dr. Mortizavi is great and has a great bedside manner. He and PA People’s are very patient when it comes to educating their patients about their procedure or injury. I would recommend them both to family and friends. I also like the fact that he is willing to try non-surgical treatments and makes surgery the last option.
Dr Mortazavi and his staff, Curtis, MA and Rachel are the best. My recent anterior lumbar interbody discectomy and fusion surgery went very well. The follow up was very thorough and helpful to allow me to see the progress I am making. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ali Mortazavi
