I ha an appt with dr. Skindell, and being on healthplus, I had to change him to my primary physician b4 I could make a visit. Healthplus only allows you to change primary the 1st of every month.this being said, I received the automated phone call to arrive 15 min early and bring meds and cancel within 24 hrs if necessary. I NEVER had issues at any office in my life. This place is horrible! The doctor is like talking to a rock. She lack compassion and personality. Her nurse is the worst of them all. She talks to you passive aggressively, yet continuously is calling you "Hun". She talks down to you and acts like you are a bother. Seriously, if you want proper care GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! Doesn't take time with patients, in quick, refers you to a specialist, out quick. Management says he runs a "tight ship", my experience- that means yelling at my teenage son, calling him a liar, refusing to treat him, but taking my money, and ignoring phone calls.
This doctor I'm positive was in Windsor Ontario Canada. He saved my life in 2004 when I had an abi. I have always wanted to meet this man for giving me a second chance at my life......this man is such a special man in my life. My only wish is to sit down for dinner with him.....to thank him for his skills and knowledge that saved my life. I apreciate what you have done for me.
Been seeing Dr. Skindell for several years now, for myself and three children all young adult age. Love that appointments are quick, but haven't had an appointment where the doctor really does anything. He does referrals. I called him months ago , left a message, -never get a real person, that I was not comfortable with a doc he sent me and my son to, asked for a referral to new specialist and never received a response. Has his LPN do the work then he comes in acting like the big shot. He suggests dangerous courses of treatment like stopping medications cold turkey in order to cause you to have a GI flare so he can scope. Condescending and suggested my diagnosed GI problem is psychiatric and my antidepressants need evaluated.
Dr. Schaar is kind, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor and spends a great deal of time with you as a patient who appreciates his advice. He definately makes you feel comfortable and we love his philosophy of working WITH you not just telling you what to do. Dr.chuk saved my life.he was a great Dr did amazing brain surgery on me for chiari malformation. He also ordered a full spine MRI to check my flow since I have syringomyelia.
Tends to recommend alternative doctors than attempt to diagnose and treat himself. Office staff is terrible at scheduling. You can never get in if you are sick. They recommend Urgent Care many times. Likeable guy, but spends a lot of time chatting about his toys and other things.
